County Board: How they voted Submitted by Jorge Sosa on November 3, 2009 - 3:21pm.

Here are some of the resolutions members of the McLeod County Board of Commissioners unanimously voted to approve at their Nov. 3 meeting. For more County Board coverage, see the Leader’s Nov. 5 print edition.

Curfew ordinance: Adopt a proposed countywide curfew for minors. A public hearing prior to the vote drew no members of the public.

Road agreement: Renew an agreement with Wright County for construction and maintenance of County Road 56 north of Winsted, aka Common Street, from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2010.

Tobacco conference: Approve out-of-state travel for public health educator Jean Johnson to attend a Nov. 16-20 Tobacco Free Youth conference on organizing for social change. The cost is covered by a state grant.
