Surviving Fiji

Silver Lake native Gary Stritesky journeyed to the other side of the globe to take on the “Survivor: Fiji” challenge. He and 18 other castaways will vie for a $1 million grand prize. Stritesky is a carpenter, Vietnam vet and outdoorsman. His wife, Diane, said, “We go up to the Boundary Waters every year. We canoe, we hike, we backpack and we camp out.
